Our story began over 40 years ago, when a group of footwear manufacturing specialists in Italy set up a production line for protective footwear.
That’s how Exena was born, and over time it has become a guarantee for quality protective footwear.
Following our success on the Italian market and in order to increase our production capacity, in 1994 we opened our first factory for protective footwear in Romania, in Bacău – Rhino Work.
In 2010, in order to be able to commercialize on the local market the Exena and Sirin brands, already produced in Romania, we established Rhino Safety – a distribution company for work protection equipment. Rhino Safety covers all the general ranges in the industry, both our own products and those imported from other European manufacturers: footwear, clothing and accessories for work protection.
