It is a hoisting and lowering device consisting of a winch with a crank attached to the leg of a tripod. The winch is equipped with a six-strand steel rope with a natural fiber core 20 and 25 m long and 6.3 mm in diameter. The RUP 502 is a piece of rescue equipment. Using the device, an injured person can be raised from a lower level to a higher level, or lowered from a higher level to a lower level. The lowering distance must not exceed 2 m. The gearing used in the mechanism allows the drum to rotate at 5 turns of the winch crank. It is equipped with an automatic brake, has a weight of 13-14kg and can support a working load of up to 140kg.
The crank arm has 2 length options, allowing the user to adjust the torque according to the selected variant.
